Tecopa Palms Therapeutic Hot Springs Resort provides guests with chemical-free, world-class therapeutic benefits. No chemicals, no chlorine, no bromine—just pure, all-natural water.

This is God’s water from the great deep, originating more than 200 miles below the Earth’s crust. The artesian source (not a well) continuously flows into three hot, mineral-enriched pools. Water from the pools drains into a protected, chemical-restricted E.P.A. habitat. Because of this, no chemicals such as chlorine or bromine are ever added.

To preserve this delicate environment, human contaminants such as oils, makeup, bacteria, dead skin, and scabs are strictly prohibited.

Entry requires an Authorization to Enter – Pool Pass Permit, provided by management and subject to agreement with the conditions of entry.

Pool Pass Permit Conditions include:

• No one under the influence of alcohol may enter the hot tubs.

• Footwear is not allowed inside the private pool houses to prevent cross-contamination from shoes to mats to pool water.

• Bathing suits are prohibited in Tecopa, California hot tubs by Inyo County ordinance due to dyes endangering the habitat. (No bathing suits permitted.)

• A thorough shower must be taken in the private hot pool room every time before entering the pool and especially after restroom use.

• Hair below collar length requires a hair net (provided by management).

• Maximum soaking time is 15 minutes, followed by exiting, rehydrating with water, and cooling down before re-entry—always following the same procedures.

• Clothing or a robe is required when exiting the pools for modesty.

Additional Amenities:
A community room provides a comfortable space to cool down, nap, enjoy popcorn, relax, or visit with others. A mobility scooter is available for guests with limited mobility to travel between lodging, pools, and the community room. A rollator walker is also provided for use between the pool room and the bathroom.
